Description:

The upstairs is newly remodeled with an open floor plan. It is fresh and clean with new furniture and tile throughout.  All the living amenities – the kitchen, living area, dining area, two bedrooms and bathroom – are upstairs.  The most unique feature is the large picture windows spanning the entire back of the upstairs, with views of the lake from both inside and the upper deck. Another added bonus is the oversize covered deck nicknamed “the dance floor”. More than likely, most will gather here for entertaining or relaxing. The deck has a patio table and chairs, and propane barbecue grill.

The kitchen comes equipped with all new appliances – a porcelain top stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator.  Lots of counter space defines the kitchen area with a wrap around bar on the opposite side, providing extra seating.  There is also a dining table with seating for six.

The living area has all the necessities, such as a large leather sofa, oversize sofa chair, recliner and coffee table.  The television comes equipped with a VCR/DVD player and DVD library (30 DVDs).  A stereo and CD player with Ipod hookup is also handy for added entertainment. 

The upstairs master bedroom has a queen-size bed, antique vanity, mirrored double door closet, ceiling fan and two windows.  The second upstairs bedroom has a double/twin bunk bed with sleeping for three. It also has a spacious closet, ceiling fan and two windows.  The bathroom between the two bedrooms has a large standup shower with glass sliding doors and sink vanity. 

Additional amenities add openness and charm, such as high ceilings with progressive lighting over the kitchen and living area and ceiling fans (two in the kitchen, two in the living area). 

The downstairs is accessible from a spiral staircase leading from the upstairs living area to the game room and third and fourth bed rooms. You can also access the downstairs from the front door or a set of sliding doors at the back of the house. The downstairs is the game room area or  “kid’s quarters” – a great place for children to hang out without parents worrying about them damaging anything. 

The game room/laundry area has an additional fridge to keep cold drinks handy, microwave, wet bar, tv, dvd and stereo.  From the game room you have a separate door leading to both the third and fourth bedrooms. This bedroom has a double bed, window air conditioning unit and sliding doors leading out to the covered back patio.  A newly remodeled bathroom joins the two downstairs bedrooms with a standup shower and mirrored sink vanity. The fourth bedroom has a double/twin bunk bed with sleeping for three. Sliding glass doors open to the covered patio from this bedroom as well.  In all, this home can sleep up to 10 adults, which is the homes maximum capacity.

The back yard has a large grassy area for games or sunbathing.  You can fish from the shore or covered boat dock as well. You can tie your boat to the outside of the covered boat dock, with bumpers provided.  The boat launch is just one block away at City Park 8!

The Lake Crest Vacation Home is located in Granite Shoals, TX right off of Highway 1431.  It is only 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 3 ½ hours west of Houston.

It is minutes from Marble Falls (just right down Hwy 1431) for grocery shopping, restaurants and boutique/antique shopping.  You are also close to several local activities and attractions - golf courses (Packsaddle Public Golf Course or The Legends Golf Course in Kingsland or Inks Lake State Park Golf Course), water parks (Granite Beach in Horseshoe Bay), hiking and camping (Inks Lake State Park), wineries (4 local) and sightseeing/tourist attractions (Longhorn Caverns and the Berry Farm).
