The Organic Lake House has it ALL for your next family vacation – A premiere spot on open water on Lake LBJ in Kingsland, TX where the Colorado and Llano Rivers meet in the northern portion of the lake; Luxurious, organic amenities and accommodations for large groups (three-story, four bedroom, three bath home that sleeps up to 14) and Lots of entertainment for all ages (boat and jet ski lift, huge water toys, foosball table, covered patio w/ misting system for bbq and entertaining, and two kids “play” rooms).

As you enter this 2001, three-story home you will step up to the main living area, kitchen, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and large picture windows spanning the entire width of the home. Enjoy the magnificent views of open water and Texas hill countryside while dining, relaxing on the couch or preparing a meal or cup of organic tea.  The third floor entrance is also accessed from the front foyer with kids play area, toy bin and twin bed. The first floor (water level) has a bedroom, full bathroom and entertainment/bedroom with access to the covered porch, boat/jet ski lifts and swimming.

Lots of TLC has been put into this home by the homeowners (who also like to enjoy it when it’s not rented!). The list can go on for days…but here are a few highlights:

In all, with four bedrooms and three full baths, you can sleep (and bathe) up to 13 guests (…and two more upon request)!!

MAIN FLOOR (Two bedrooms / Two Bathrooms):

The Master Bedroom is on the main floor off of the living area and has a king-size bed, television, vaulted ceiling/fan and desk overlooking the balcony and lake.  Enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony with café table and chairs. The Master bathroom comes equipped with a standup shower, double-sink vanity and private toilet area. Some bonus amenities are organic sheets and pillowcases, two fluffy bath robes, hair dryer and plush organic bath towels and washcloths.

The second main floor bedroom is adjacent to the master and second bathroom. It features a queen AND full bed opposite each other for optimum privacy! Also featured are large “french” glass doors leading out to a balcony, ceiling fan, organic sheets and a simple, clean décor.

The second, main floor bathroom offers a walk-in shower, pedestal sink and plush towels and washcloths.

TOP / THIRD FLOOR (One bedroom):

The top, third floor makes this home feel castle-esque…and the lucky guests to sleep here a prince...or princess!  Small toy bins filled with dolls, trucks and games, reading nook with arched window, “tropical” twin bed and side table, extra twin rollaway and ceiling fan equip this room nicely!

FIRST FLOOR (WATER LEVEL)  (one bedroom, one full bath):

The fourth bedroom uses its space for sleeping efficiency…and entertainment!  A king-size bed, double futon sleeper sofa and twin bed offer sleeping for five – and fun for all -with an upscale wood-grain foosball table!  This bedroom also has full access to the covered party deck and water through its glass, sliding doors.

KITCHEN:

LIVING, DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT AREAS:

The upstairs living room offers a relaxing retreat from the sun and fun. With shade screens, Bose surround sound, stereo, cable television with DVD/VCR and comfy sofa and recliner you can watch your favorite movie or listen to music in style.  Custom features include vaulted ceilings, two ceiling fans, recessed lighting and open layout to kitchen and dining area. A wood-burning stove is a nice focal-point with limestone backing and two unique “fireside” seats.  Perhaps the real focal-point is the beautiful view of the open water from the large picture windows and balcony.   

The dining area off of the kitchen has a glass table with seating for four in an arched “nook” overlooking the water.  Additional seating for four is at the kitchen bar (you can also dine in the downstairs entertainment room or party deck…see below for more info).

The downstairs “entertainment” room is a great place to prepare snacks for outside dining, cool off from the sun or get ready for the next boat ride.  Featured is a kitchenette with microwave, sink, CD/Radio, entertainment cart on wheels, and fun “fish” themed plates, bowls, glasses and utensils. A great selection of water toys, floats, life jackets are also included.

The fully-covered party deck is definitely the place where everyone will be – with four round tables with seating for 16, barbeque grill, wrap-around misting system, boat lift, jet ski lift (holds 2), swim ladder and deck!

THE AREA AND THINGS TO DO:

The Organic Lake House is located in Kingsland, TX right off of Hwy 1431. Local entertainment is only a few miles away – public golf courses (Packsaddle and Inks Lake State Park), tourist attractions such as the Longhorn Caverns, Sweet Berry Farm, Devil’s Water Hole at Inks Lake State Park and local wineries such as Lost Creek. The Kingsland Slab is also a great swimming hole that is just minutes away! If you are coming from the house, go right on Hwy 1431 and then take another left on FM 3404. You’ll see it a couple of miles down.

The Organic Lake House is only 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 3 ½ hours west of Houston.

Organic Sunset Lake House does accept pets (2 dogs / 2 cat maximum). The pets must be housebroken and kenneled if left unattended in the home. CATS MUST BE DECLAWED. Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
