At the hub of the lake, where the Colorado, Llano and Lake LBJ arms meet, choices for boating and fishing are unlimited.  Visitors can fish from the shore, the new fishing pier and dock, or watch the sun rise over the open countryside as the deer graze quietly.

The Star of Texas Lake House is your premier destination for comfort, Texas style and outdoor fun.  This new, one-story home built of native limestone rock has an open layout perfect for family gatherings. Enjoy the view of the lake at mealtime, either in the dining area with seating for nine, or on the back porch.

The Star of Texas Lake House is located in Kingsland, TX right off of Hwy 1431. Local entertainment is only a few miles away – public golf courses (Packsaddle and Inks Lake State Park), tourist attractions such as the Longhorn Caverns and the Devil’s Water Hole at Inks Lake State Park and local wineries such as Lost Creek. You can also shop in Marble Falls, only 15 minutes away down Hwy 1431.

The Star of Texas is only 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 3 ½ hours west of Houston.

Amenities:

Bedrooms: Three bedrooms located in hallway leading from carport to kitchen/living area. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and have comfortable, quality bed linens and pillows.

Master bedroom has a king size bed with nightstands, cable television with DVD, nightstand with mirror, adjoining master bath with a tub/shower combination and upgraded brass fixtures.

Second bedroom has two double beds with a shared nightstand and lamp and a large dresser.

Third bedroom has two twin beds and a dresser.

Living Area: Carpeted with a leather sofa bed, matching loveseat, recliner, rocking chair, large media center with cable television and DVD/VCR.

Dining Area: Large dining table with seating for 8 and an adjacent kitchen bar with seating for three; ceramic tile throughout.

Kitchen: Open, modern kitchen with all major appliances, abundant counter space; ceramic tile throughout.

Backyard: Covered back porch with two ceiling fans, patio table, bench and propane grill; large grassy yard with walkway to covered boat dock with electric lift; fishing pier and underwater lure light; deck ladder on dock for easy swimming.

Laundry room with closet, washer and dryer; double car port and public boat launch just one street away at Lions Park.

Rental Price: $250 - $425
Rate Information:

Base Rates include 6 Guests. There is a $10 charge per night per person. Maximum of 10 adults, 11 with children.
Stay 7 nights or more and get a free weeknight!

Winter Rates:

(Sept. 16 - February 28):
Weeknights (Sun - Thurs) $250
Weekend (Fri - Sat) $295

Spring/Summer Rates:

(March 1 - Sept 15):
Weeknights (Sun - Thurs) $395
Weekend (Fri - Sat) $425

Fees:

$500 refundable damage deposit
6% State Tax will be added
One-time cleaning fee of $95 (non-negotiable)
Holidays & Holiday Weekends (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day) $50 more a night, maximum of 3 nights for holiday charge.

All major credit cards accepted. Please call us to make a reservation. We require the first night’s stay in the form of a check or credit card to reserve your dates. Remaining balance is due 10 days before check-in. Rates are subject to change unless you are confirmed. We reserve the right to refuse reservations. 2 night minimum required for Spring/Summer rates, 3 night minimum required during Holidays. Please read our rental agreement contract before booking.
