The view also includes a beautiful, gently sloping, landscaped yard with room for a variety of family activities. The scene from the house is one of tranquility, featuring one of the most unique and beautiful spots on the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ. This 3,600 square foot home features many indoor entertainment areas. A regulation size pool table, foosball, pinball machine, poker table, craps table, three televisions, a VCR, stereo and many board games will entertain guests during those times away from the water. Four bedrooms will accommodate many sleeping arrangements for a variety of guests. A master suite with a view of the lake offers a king size bed and private bath with a Jacuzzi tub and private shower. The guest rooms offer two twins, two twins, another king bed and a hide away bed in the downstairs living area. Two more full baths finish out the amenities of this home away from home. The kitchen is very user friendly in the middle of all the action on the upper level. The Oak House is located in Hoovers Valley, off of Park Road 4. Inks Lake State Park is only a few minutes drive from the Oak House, where you can hike, relax at the beach, rent a canoe or visit the famous Devil’s Water Hole. Visit Longhorn Caverns State Park 4 miles away on Park Road 4. For more information, go to www.longhorncaverns.com. Hoovers Valley is approximately 10 minutes from Burnet and Kingsland and 20 minutes from Marble Falls. It is about 60 minutes northwest of Austin and 80 minutes north of San Antonio. Several of our other lake homes are on the same street, which is ideal for large family reunions, weddings, etc (Cool Waters, Pecan House, Rebecca’s River Roost and Breeze Terrace are all within very close proximity to The Oak House). Maximum of 14 Guests Winter Rates: (Sept. 16 - February 28): Spring/Summer Rates: (March 1 - Sept 15): Fees: $500 refundable damage deposit, $800 with pet 6% State and 5% County Tax $10 per person, per night for over 6 guests. (14 max) $150 cleaning fee, $175 with pet. Pet Fee: $10 per day/ per dog(2 dogs maximum) Holidays & Holiday Weekends (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day) $50 more a night, maximum of 3 nights for holiday charge.
