Just a few of the many phrases we hear frequently from Oak House guests.

The view from the 125 feet of private waterfront pictures a two-story home, with full-length verandas under grand live oak trees. The view also includes a beautiful, gently sloping, landscaped yard with room for a variety of family activities. The scene from the house is one of tranquility, featuring one of the most unique and beautiful spots on the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ.

This 3,600 square foot home features many indoor entertainment areas. A regulation size pool table, foosball, pinball machine, poker table, craps table, three televisions, a VCR,  stereo and many board games will entertain guests during those times away from the water.

Four bedrooms will accommodate many sleeping arrangements for a variety of guests. A master suite with a view of the lake offers a king size bed and private bath with a Jacuzzi tub and private shower. The guest rooms offer two twins, two twins, another king bed and a hide away bed in the downstairs living area.  Two more full baths finish out the amenities of this home away from home. The kitchen is very user friendly in the middle of all the action on the upper level. 

The Oak House is located in Hoovers Valley, off of Park Road 4. Inks Lake State Park is only a few minutes drive from the Oak House, where you can hike, relax at the beach, rent a canoe or visit the famous Devil’s Water Hole. Hoovers Valley is approximately 10 minutes from Burnet and Kingsland and 20 minutes from Marble Falls. It is about 60 minutes northwest of Austin and 80 minutes north of San Antonio.

Several of our other lake homes are on the same street, which is ideal for large family reunions, weddings, etc (Cool Waters, Pecan House, Rebecca’s River Roost and Breeze Terrace are all within very close proximity to The Oak House).

Two bedrooms, one with a king size bed, sitting area and mirrored closet doors and the other with a twin bed and trundle, sitting area, desk and chalk boards; One bathroom with a shower/tub combination; Full open kitchen that overlooks the game area with refrigerator, microwave, stove top oven and dishwasher; Living area with sofa, armchairs, satellite television, pool table and bar/craps table; Game/sitting area with game table, satellite television, pinball and foosball; Office desk with additional counter space and laundry room with washer/dryer, refrigerator and dart board.

Downstairs:
Two bedrooms, master bedroom overlooking water with king size bed, sitting area, satellite television and large vanity closet, second bedroom with twin bed and trundle; Two bathrooms, master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower, second bathroom with shower/tub combo; Living area with satellite television, sleeper sofa and view of the lake.

Backyard:
Two covered decks overlooking the water, large grassy lawn with oak trees, walkway to smaller patio closer to the water and covered boat dock.

Base Rates include 6 Guests. There is a $10 charge per night per person. Maximum of 14 Guests
Stay 7 nights or more and get a weeknight free

(Sept. 16 - February 28):
Weeknights (Sun - Thurs) $325
Weekend (Fri - Sat) $375

Spring/Summer Rates:

(March 1 - Sept 15):

Fees: $500 refundable damage deposit, $800 with pet
6% State and 5% County Tax
$10 per person, per night for over 6 guests. (14 max)
$150 cleaning fee, $175 with pet.
Pet Fee: $10 per day/ per dog(2 dogs maximum)
Holidays & Holiday Weekends (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day) $50 more a night, maximum of 3 nights for holiday charge.

All major credit cards accepted. Please call us to make a reservation. We require the first night’s stay in the form of a check or credit card to reserve your dates. Remaining balance is due 10 days before check-in. Rates are subject to change unless you are confirmed. We reserve the right to refuse reservations. 2 night minimum required for Spring/Summer rates, 3 night minimum required during Holidays. Please read our rental agreement contract before booking.

Pet Policy:

The Oak House does accept pets (2 dogs maximum). The pets must be housebroken and kenneled if left unattended in the home. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. Failure to comply with these rules, or any “spots” or messes will be considered as damage and will be deducted from damage deposit. Pet Fee: $10 per day/ per dog(2 dogs maximum)
